We aim to reply within two working days. Telling us your phone number (the one you sign in with), your device and what you were doing when it went wrong gets you a real answer instead of a follow-up question.
Signing in
Your account is your phone number and a password. Indian (+91) numbers get a one-time code by SMS when you first sign up, when you claim an account a friend created for you, and when you reset a forgotten password. If the code does not arrive, wait for the resend timer and try again — and check that the number you typed is the one your SIM uses.
Splitting an expense
Log the expense, pick who was in on it, and choose how it splits — equally, by exact amounts, by shares, or by percentage. Everyone in a group sees the same running total, and balances reduce to the fewest payments that clear them.
Someone is not on Easy Hisab yet
Add them anyway. You can log expenses against them straight away, and when they join with that phone number, the history you have already recorded attaches to their account.
Getting your data out
Profile → Export my data gives you a spreadsheet of your entries. No request, no waiting.
Deleting your account
Profile → Delete account, inside the app. Your personal data is deleted; expenses you shared with other people stay in their ledgers, anonymised, because deleting them would silently change what someone else is owed. See the full explanation.
