You can delete your Easy Hisab account and its data at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent — it cannot be undone, and your data cannot be recovered afterwards.

Delete from within the app

Can't access the app?

Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my Easy Hisab account" and the phone number you registered with. We will verify it is your number (e.g. via an OTP to that number) and complete the deletion, normally within 7 days of verification.

What gets deleted

• Personal expenses, income, budgets and custom categories
• Recurring expense rules and personal to-dos
• Receipts, voice-entry artifacts, SMS-detected transactions and AI usage records
• Notifications, registered devices and push tokens
• Your friends list, sign-in sessions and OTP records
• Your phone number, email and photo are removed from your profile

What is kept (anonymized)

Expenses, settlements and comments you shared with friends or groups remain visible to those people — otherwise their own ledgers and balances would become wrong — but they no longer identify you: your profile is replaced with "Deleted user" and your phone number, email and photo are removed. Payment/subscription records may be retained where required by tax or accounting law.

After deletion

• All sign-in sessions are revoked immediately.
• Your phone number is freed — signing in with it again creates a brand-new, empty account.
• Residual copies in encrypted backups roll off within a short operational window.
